Named after the average donation to Senator Bernie Sanders’s presidential campaign, the 27 Sweater is my adaptation of the iconic colorwork mittens he wore to the 2021 Presidential Inauguration. Inspired by his dedication to social justice causes and grassroots approach, 50% of all proceeds from pattern sales until the end of August 2021 will go towards Hotels For Homeless, a local mutual aid fund that provides vital, temporary housing for the unhoused.

This pattern calls for 4 colors — a Main Color and 3 Contrast Colors.
